WTF:14.3 @93mph HELP!!!

Truck is only boosting till 11psi no matter what setting i put Uchip on.It was running fine all day today until I got to the strip.I am running Razor's alky kit.I wonder if my 3 bar map sensor was zapped some how.I tried turning the waste gate rod tighter but I got the same effect.I ruled out vacum line because there made of black silicone and only have about 7-8k miles on them.I changed plugs yesterday.
I turned off the alky kit and still no difference.Anyone else have a similar problem???

I just threw down a 14.1 at 93 so don't feel too bad. Strange that you're only seeing 11psi. I'm pretty sure base boost is 8, so it doesn't sound like your vac line to your wg is cracked, but it's worth a check. Are you still running the stock internal wg? if so it could be going bad, or possibly a bad solenoid...but these are just shots in the dark. I've got Razor's kit sitting in my closet right now waiting for me to install it.

If you can't get any better than base boost I would look into the boost solenoid. I know with my ultimate, I had turn the wastegate 2.5-3 truns to be able to get full boost before third gear

I had a problem with my solenoid and I was still getting above base boost. Boost would only climb about 1/2 as quick with the bad solenoid and it would then drop below 8psi. Check to make sure the solenoid has its little foam piece on teh outlet port. If it isnt' there your port might be clogged. For as cheap as the solenoids are try replacing that first then go from there.

Yeah it was spooling up real slow.I kept turning the WG rod shorter and shorter to compensate.The sponge is still there I will remove it and see if it is clogged.IF that does not work I will try my buddy's 3 bar from his truck.

OK i replaced The 3-bar and BC solenoid with no changes.I am begining to think it is a clooged CAT.
My truck has 83k miles on it.It seems to be dropping in boost level started to max out at 11psi and is now descending to 10-9psi.
Is alcohol known to clog cats?I ahve been running the truck pretty rich 50 psi for about 10k miles.I did not realize this until yesterday when I started to tune it for the Alcohol kit.Now fuel psi is at 39psi.
WHat else could it be?deas?

The cat is gone
Truck is LOUD.
Boost is back to 20psi.I will be doing some testing tomorrow.The cat apeared to be broken inside,HTT since I was banging away with a hammer.

Where can I get 1 of these new boost solenoids?I'd like to replace mine,as I seem to be only getting like 11 lbs of boost.How much are they,and do you have a pic of 1 on the engine?

I think they are around $20.It is located on top of the turbo with the 2 vac. line bypassing it and one electrical plug connected to it.If yours is in better condtion than most it will have a small black sponge under one of the vac. lines.You cannot miss it.
I pulled mine off and sprayed some electrical cleaner through it and did not apear to b clogged.
Check for a vac. leak behind the plenum closest to the distibitor cap.This is where i found my leak before and happened when I replaced the cap.

No smell, only a clanking noise when it was real hot outside.SOunded like theheat shield but the heat sheild is still tight.When I removed it the stone inside was broken up in front.

THe strange thing is my truck is holding boost.Freaky :infinity:

I had the exact same problem with my truck and a clogged cat. The stock cats break up easy and any restriction in exhaust will limit how much boost you can build. If you truck has miles on it and still has the stock cat I would start there.
