Well, we got most everything in
vigilante(precision industries)2800 stall conv, pte52 kit, electric dump, 50's, 3 bar, phil long chip for thisstuff plus stock motor, tb air foil
need to add f. pump yet tomorow
Runs ok and sounds very cool with dump open
now time for gross tuning adjustments:
Bill C helped me realize that I installed the chip wrong...so it runs ok now...no more million knock counts per second...!
I have two or three issues currently that I'd like to fix:
1) Misfire at >10psi.... several people suggest a tighter plug gap
2) Rich at idle...quite rich Some suggest backing off the vacoff 45psi ...testing diff /new o2
3) what looks like Oxygen sensor "lean out" (per diacom---transitions from 88mv to 500mv at 30-45% throttle)at part throttle on diacom Some suggest its merely a function of an open loop chip and don't worry about o2 readings with open loop!? Its worth mentioning that the truck runs fine with no knock(1.8degrees)...worry about it? I thought I remember my friend's sy with ultimate chip(open loop chip) showing this same lean readings of o2 but in reality being very rich and no knock....
What do you think? too Rich? Foul plugs? I got very little/no knock with prelim/part throttle datalogging....prelim runs with light throttle
and tips for improving spool up time??
