Relocating to Minn.

Looking for nice areas around the twin cities. Suggestions? Any areas to avoid? Hoping to move around October.

Call me, I can help you out. Lived in minneapolis for a long time. you are going to love it!

Do you know where you are going to work? Stay away from Brooklyn Park and North Minneapolis. I like Bloomington and Burnsville.

I live in Pine Island MN. One hour south of the cities. Not sure how close you want to be. Its the best town I have ever lived in.

Depends a lot on what you like to do. (And where your territory is)

If you have no need to live in the cities, there are a lot of small towns nearby.

Kind of a matter of personal taste.

truthfully if you find something or an area you are looking in, ask adam or post up. I have live in the NE corner of the cities all my life. Its a great place to live anything you could ever want is within 5 mins and you can be out of town up north in less then 10 mins. I can go any which way on 3 different interstates 5 mins from my house. Yet we live on a dead end street, with trees and a lake behind us.

South metro is commonly known as new money where the north metro is more established (old money) type feel.

So like I said if maybe talk about what you need or where you will commonly go and we cna help even more.

im from thesouth side of the cities(eagan), good area also but as jim said its getting bigger with newer housing and what not. lots to do in MN car wise.

What's wrong with Brooklyn Park? My dad lives there fro 29 years and hasn't had any issues. He has great neighbours and there's a house on the corner from him for sale. If I could I would buy it and move there. He's on Quebec Avenue off of Winnetca( spell check it). But I would recommend that area for anybody. Nice sized yars close to alot of things. New development close by with 800k homes. I dunno. I like it.

Its not so bad, I just helped my friend move in there. His new neighbors are interesting to say the least but hopefully harmless. Its just like any other city though you have your good areas and your bad.

Thanks guys. Meeting the buyer for business today. As soon as a deal is made, Ill hopefully take a trip up to scout out areas. Looking at October to move.
