Ty 907

92 Typhoon #907 I need to look up the mileage again. I believe it is around 128K or something like that.

Thinking of selling the Typhoon. I have no time to do even the smallest things for it. It is a great project truck. It has alot of the upgrades wanted done. I'm thinking if I get too many low ball offers I will part it out.

Has a McCoy supermotor with about 300 miles on it.
I have code 59 running however needs to be completely tuned out.
I also have the believed to be original motor #5 cylinder got a burnt hole through it..

The body is not in the best of shape some rust and the when the roof rack was removed it was not done properly. I'm putting on new oil return lines tonight. The bad is that the turbo lines may have issues or something not sure. I think my turbo has issues. My PTE60 is off balance and I replaced it with a 52 and it seems to make a horrible sound. So really the bad points is possible turbo, turbo oil lines, or waste gate issues and the tune.

I know everyone will want pix. I will work on that soon. After the oil lines for the cooler are installed.

Truck has a rebuilt title

remote start and alarm
Gilbert shaft
75lb injectors
progressive alky kit (not installed)
Ostrich
Wide Band
Optima Red Top
Battery relocation to infront of passanger wheel
Headers
3" down pipe with cut out
Cant really remeber it all. I'm sure I'm leaving out alot of stuff.

Also will trade straight across for a Ferrari 599 or California.

Located in Rolla Missouri

Are you going to give me 180,000 or so in change from trading my Ferrari California?

Re: Ty 907

So you are saying that your typhoon with body problems and tuning issues and bad turbos is worth 100K. Pass the Hookah.

I was once told it is worth what someone is willing to pay. So if there is anyone out there willing to donate a Ferrari California for a typhoon then I'm willing to accept.

Yeah its a pipe dream

Re: Ty 907

I would think someone would want the Ty for its motor alone. I'm serious about selling it. Any intrest out there?

Re: Ty 907

if you are serious about selling it, you need to give a serious price...

Sounds to me like you are tired of messing with the headache and are ready to dump it.

Hmmm... Potential of having various turbo shavings sent throught a brand new motor, doesn't help the price.

I would rather have serious offers. I'm ok with it sitting. I'm use to it. I'm not sure what it is worth. I'm looking for offers.

Well I haven't had any issues with the motor so far. I have also changed the oil twice already didn't notice shavings. I will once again once the lines are on tomorrow. I'm very over cautious on the motor.

Re: Ty 907

I will get pix as soon as possible. The truck is still in the shop. They are busy getting other cars done. So mine is on the back burner.

Not quite. Its my friend that just left GM. He has been a certified GM tech for years. So people that pay him come first.
