ugh oh,,,, 3 bottles of "octane boost" would have brought your 92 octane up to around 92.8. Remember a octane point is 0.1. Now if your were talking about Torco or something similar then nevermind. I can't hear knock until around 8-9 degree's on my very quiet GN(when I lost the original headgaskets). 20(+)psi + unaudible knock =
x2.
Consider the following:
There aren't too many known substances that are greater than 133 octane.
Say you used a gallon of such a substance to an otherwise full tank
14 gals * 92 =1288
1 gal * 133 = 133
133 + 1288 = 1421
1421/ 15 (total gallons of gas)
94.7 Octane.
Now, I don't know how big of "bottles" you put in, but assuming they're the 12oz variety, you added 36 oz, or about a quart.
In order to achieve the ~95 octane above, the stuff you put in would have to have roughly 500+ octane.
Needless to say, there is no such substance.
I don't know about you, but I wouldn't feel comfortable at all running anything at 20 psi on 95 octane. To say nothing for the ~93 octane you had in there...
The 20 psi settings shouldn't be used with anything less than 104 octane, or so. And that's assuming everything is running right.
