Re: Syclone @ US Marshal auction 1/29
When i called the auction today...i asked what time the us marshalls seizures would be coming through. The girl said let me guess, you are coming for the 1991 syclone? She said she has had a ton of phone calls about it. Could be auction hype....who knows.
Re: Syclone @ US Marshal auction 1/29
Haaa. Yea. Youd think that. But car guys are nuts. I go to dealer auctions every week. A lot of these guys work for someone else or are on a floor plan and arent even using their own money. They are loose cannons. See a few trucks selling for high prices...
Re: Syclone @ US Marshal auction 1/29
You know, i think you're right. I would definitely throw you $500 if i end up buying it right. But i dont see that happening. I think there are 2 scenarios that will happen.
1. Its a really nice truck and guys will get auction fever and pay too much...
Re: Syclone @ US Marshal auction 1/29
Generally with all the government seizures ive ever seen, they sell them no matter what. They dont have any money invested, so they could care less what it sells for. Im sure if they had something of great value it may be different. But with all of the cars...
Re: Sandy Syclone project
Not really sure. I paid a guy to do it. But we have a little used car dealership, and we send him a ton of work. So he hooked me up. Plus he really likes the trucks too. Hes painting whole truck for less than im guessing someone would charge to do claddings.
Re: Sandy Syclone project
sanded down to bare plastic, then plastic primer used, then 2k filler primer, blocked out with 600, then sealer coat, then black basecoat then 4 coats of clear coat, wetsanded with 2000 then buffed and polished
Re: i wouldn't mind these wheels...
They look to be about $2200 now. I wonder what size would be good? 18x8 and 18x10? I wonder if they even make a 8" wide?
