My serpentine belt is loose and need help on how to diagnose why the belt is loose. The belt is in route of all the pulleys. Is there a way to tighten the belt to get rid of the slack?

My temp gauge is always marking about 140 to 150 degrees when warmed up. My gauge only goes up about a quarter of the way up. Is this normal?

My Typhoon runs weird when the weather is hot, 85 to 90 degrees. When i turn my truck off for a couple minutes and i try to turn it back on, the engine cranks alot but wont turn over. Sometimes i get lucky and it does turn on. Anyone have strange hot weather problems?

Today i started my typhoon and went to safeway, (only 2 minutes away). Came back out about ten minutes later and it didn't start. It will crank and crank but wont start. I came back about 1 hour later and it started. Has anyone experienced any similar problems. There is gas in the truck.
