Re: 17c to 20G

Good luck man if shit hits the fan with kinugawa parts. They dis
Disappear if the parts fails and you need to return it. If it was me I'd look for a complete real 20g with a 10-12cm housing. Search hi and low for a good used one or contact Hahn racing I believe he's is still there. But good luck and keep your head up and stick on the ice.

Thanks! I hope it holds up at a max of 18psi. I am planing on running 16-17psi actually but we will see. As for this thing not being "real", don't know what that means. I will post up if it fails so anybody set on "better" parts can spend their cash on renamed stuff.

This reminds me of the "M" blocks the Ford and Chevy dudes swear by. Guess what M stands for. :rotf:
In any case, I am taking a leap here for all of our benefit. Waiting on transmission build to test it out.

Good luck to you & your turbo looks great!

If it all goes well, it should be slightly faster than your stock turbo.

Not being "real" meaning, it's not a Mitsubishi part, correct? or?

Question though, did you get the center section rebalanced?

If not, I would spend the little bit extra to do so, even though they say they are already balanced.

And if it all checks out good, you have the piece of mind that it was completely balanced.

Thank you sir! Talked to my buddy at the turbo shop and he said he ran it thru the machine and it looked good without any further adjustments, surprisingly. This guy is one of those people who pays close attention to detail and is very patient. Gets on my nerves sometimes.
FWIW,
I had received the wrong parts from Kinugawa and tried to sell them in the "parts for sale" section. I returned them on Monday and my 20G parts by Thursday only after 2 emails and 0 phone calls. The actuator and nipple were sent overnight at their expense to complete my turbo by the following Monday. they took care of lil' old me and my under $400 purchase within a week. No worries here.
