1989/1992 Typhoon Clone

I am putting my Tyclone up for sale. Yes, I do know what I paid for it. Recent upgrades are: intercooler hard lines removed (I still have them), new intercooler pump, vac lines replaced, EGR delete, and two new tires on the rear (all the tires are good), it has a new exhaust with no cat. I also have a Turbo Tweak chip on the way, as well as some other parts that I will throw in. The price is $4500. It drives good, and does all the things that a Ty should do. The price is what it is, there is no wiggle room.

One bump before I part this truck out. I know it is worth more in parts, but someone may want a good running truck in one piece. If there is no sale on the entire truck, I think I will be parting it out very soon for other real sy/ty's to be better.

Dang, I hate to see a running truck parted out. I wish I could come take a look at it, it sounds like a perfect way to have the enjoyment of driving a Ty without the worry of messing one up. I know its one I wouldn't mind driving in OH winters or modding up a bit.

I wish I had the extra cash for this..... It would be a giant step in getting Syzilla back on the road.

I am taking this truck to paint, so it is off the market. I'm just gonna put a nice paint job on it, and try to sell it locally. It is, after all, just a 1989 Blazer.

OK, I have had fun working on this truck, but it is back on the market. The price is $6500. I would prefer to trade it for an older muscle car (not ford). This is a very well sorted clone, and I think I have established the the running gear, interior, and cladding came from TY 1969, which was a salvage title truck. It has a clean Florida title as an 1989 Blazer. I just installed the dash overlay, and the interior looks good. It needs a few minor cosmetic things on the interior to finish up, but the truck runs great, and the Turbotweak chip with the 3 bar map sensor works good. PM me if you are interested. The price is firm. You can look at the thread links in the earlier posts for pics of the truck.

I've had a request for interior pictures. I do have all of the interior panels for the back of the truck, but I have not dyed them yet and that is why they are not installed.

If this is still available next month, I may be taking a trip to Crawfordville

I presume you still have this, and would consider a trade for something interesting. I'll send a PM.
