Could be. It was at Kline's. New tires and brake pads. I was on my way home from the pet store and saw it. Stopped and was going to leave a note, but guy from shop said you just bought it. Anyway, nice to see another truck in the area. Nice truck by the way...Jim

Yea its mine. They are going to do some front end work for me. I am just too busy. I put the tires on a month ago. It has 52K and is in nice shape. I have plans to make it back to bone stock and rebuild the motor. I recently sold my mustang to buy it. I always wanted a SY, TY or GN I am sure I will be seeing you around!

I live in Washington Township in the Benns hill development (Thoroughbred Ct.). Where did you see the other one??? I saw one on Rt 33 heading towards Easton one day and I gave a thumbs up but I guess my windows in my SS were too dark. It was a 93 Blk/Blk.

Re: 2 in Pa.

I looked at houses in Benn's Hill about 6 years ago and one of the stipulations was that no commercial vehicles could be parked in the driveway overnight. Could not work for me. Saw the 93 for sale in Brodheadsville. Drove it Saturday afternoon, What a turd...Jim

That's too funny! I also went and beat the piss out of that one in Brodheadsville! The guy gave me the keys and said have fun :rotf: Your right, it is a POS. I told the guy that it needed a windshield, heater core, didn't have any oil pressure.... Bottom line was that he said i could have it for 8K. I considered it because of the interior but the outside is crap. After the drive, I opened the oil fill cap and she was smoking bad,...not to mention it was 2 qts low. It does have a chip and a couple of other goodies but all in all, not worth it  I told him I can give him 5K cash and he declined. I wanted to part it out.

Oh, and not being allowed to have commercial vehicles in this development...BS. There are 2 guys here that have full sized dump trucks parked on their front lawn. My friend from High Shcool works construction and lives here as well. He OFTEN has his rig/trailer and dozer set-up out front overnight.

Re: 2 in Pa.

My wife and daughter went on the test drive with me. They both know what to expect. And we were all disappointed. I was told his buddy was the second owner from 1994. The carfax that Mike(here on the board) pulled said something like 38000 miles in 94. He told me over the phone that his friend was a Corvette collector, that it needed a windshield and a heater core. I could have it for 9000. Here is the quick list that I noticed. Windshield, very dirty oil, and low, oil press. gauge not working, crack in front right cladding, cladding rub on passenger fender, key fobs didn't work, alarm didn't chirp, rear defogger wires rotted off, and the heater core did leak, but, it didn't leak green, it leaked rusty orange. Now to sell it advertising 69825 miles or so, from a collector, we offered him 6000. Oh yeah, there was a nasty clunk in the drivetrain also. He declined for his friend and we drove away, fast...I'll find another one...Jim

Crap I'm glad I saw this thread. I wanted to look at that Ty in Brodheadsville, but now that I know it's a POS screw it.

I live in Bangor as well, I have a red oxide primer/black primer s10 with a trailblazer front end conversion, and a lifted silver Explorer with a loud exhaust(my buddy is usually driving this). If you guys see me around I'd love to actually see your trucks up close. I live on Bracard Ct., right off of Broadway.

Wanna buy mine ;) I think I want to go nuts and mod the hell out of it and can't do it to a lower mileage stocker. I think I will look for a crappy one and do what I really want to and won't feel bad about doing it.

Re: 2 in Pa.

Worst low mile ty I've seen. Body was good, little surface rust where clading rubbed the paint, not bad at all. Driver fender clading was cracked. Interior was soaked of antifreeze and shot it all over the place. Carpet will need to pulled and throughly clead if not done yet. Turbo smoked and leaked oil around clamp from exhaust to compressor side. Clamp was loose and vibrated around and around. Slower than my explorer, yes thats not good!

Interior was good besides antifreeze, and exterior paint was good. Engine sucked, trans was so so.

Going to send the guy this thread so he knows what we all think:tup:
