Man, If this was 2 weeks ago, I would have went for this! I just bought a new DD, but Iw as looking at one of these too. GLWS

I dig the fender logos. :bump: I leased a 2012 SE 5spd (5cyl). Yours looks way nicer.

This a six speed auto/manual transmission. We bought this car to replace the TBSS cause we had a cam bearing fail in it. I fixed/ replaced all the bearings and its running great now. So the jetta needs a new home.

Good luck with sale.

I'm interested in the cam bearing fail. Any idea what caused it?

Yes a "made in mexico" sticker was left on a new AC delco oil pump (by the builder) and was caught/trapped in the oil pump screen...200 miles later the #5 cam bearing walked forward resulting in a lost of oil pressure.
The replaced cam bearings were made by durabond which are not as wide as the GM bearings. The durabond bearing failed and so I replaced them with the GM units and had not had any problems for almost a full year. I was forced to buy the jetta to shut my wife up about the whole ordeal with the engine builder.
Then 2 months later another one of his customers car lost a cam bearing (durabond) as well.
So now I have to replace the cam bearings in the V8 sy ...with a set of high performance units before I get it running cause it has the durabonds in it now.
