After checking Little River Dragways website daily for the last 2 weeks for the new 2014 schedule I can finally stop checking. Kirk waits till this time of year to make the 2014 schedule available, making setting a date for March or early April to soon of notice. Not to mention the first 3-1/2 months are pretty booked up with events, not allowing saturday night street racing. Short and sweet as i dont have a lot of time at the moment. Same place Saturday: Little River Dragway, Saturday evening for heads up street racing
Same place Sunday: Stillhouse Hollow Lake, Sunday all day show, BBQ, same pavillion location.
Im setting 3 dates available to vote for between April, May, June. These months will work best for us to plan as the release of the track schedule allows ample time to plan. And the weather is not so HOT! I havent decided if to select a back up date incase of a rainout. I guess we can use the second place vote to have as a backup date incase of a rainout.
Please use your best judgement to vote on a date to attend. I will allow 2 weeks before closing the poll. Following a set date from poll results I will open another thread discussing full details of the event. For those who are not quite sure how this all works please look at the 2012, 2013 meet threads to get ideas. If you do not have my contact number please PM me and I will get you my number to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Depending on interest we can have some T-shirts made like 2012, so be sure to Vote if you are wanting a T-shirt. I can not have a T-shirt order made under $20 a shirt without enough people interested. Keep in mind this event is at no cost to you to attend or sign up, I incourage everyone to help as they can bringing items for the BBQ sunday at the lake. Your admission into the track and lake is all thats required. I cover the pavilion rental 100%.
