TYTILIDIE
METH HEAD
So I have two typhoons and an 01 Silverado. None of our vehicles work:rotf: Friday the trans in my 92 Ty took a dump, the motor in the wife's 93 TY took a dump two months ago and now this morning, the fuel pump went out in my Silverado. I swear this kind of crap makes me feel like selling my TY's and getting something that won't always be broken. I had to walk almost a mile this morning, this is bullshit! So I had to get the wife to work by 8:30 and it was 8:15 when I started running home. Our only hope to get her to work in time was to fire up her Ty and deal with the rod knock for 3 miles. So I popped the hood sprayed a bunch of starting fluid in the filter and we got her there. All I could think was that right after she gets out it will break and I will have to walk 3 miles home in the 18* cold with the wind blowing:roll: Luckily, I made it home. I kept the RPM's under 2k the whole way. Now time to fix the 01, what sucks is that that thing has a 30 gallon tank and it is full. I may try and take the bed off to do this pump swap. What a day, hope it gets better:lol: Had to rant, think I'm done now.
