i know not another 4l80e thread, but i was wondering where are you guys that have them finding the used trannys. i know the JS kit, controller, and 3000stall convertor are a must, but what type of rebuilds are offered.
JS Manufacturing said:The best years to get are 1996 and newer. Although if you do find older one, they are so beefy I doubt for all but the ultimate buildup it will hold fine.

And I will do this for anyone else that needs one if their setup is along the same lines. If you can find a core, you can ship it to me fairly inexpensively to have done as long as your in the continental US. I have an account with R&L. I recently sent a 4L80E kit to New Jersey and it was only $124.
