do you have any info on the 6l80e ?

more seriously...do you have this data for the 4l80e? I'm curious why the tq rating is so low on the 6l80e, when i'm pretty sure the corvette is putting out more than that.

Its in the way they figured the rating also look at the size of the motor designation 4.4l I think those are early numbers when it was going to be CTSV only

they all say RWD. CAn we still use them in our vehicles? Could you git a 6.2l vortec in our trucks?

It would need some special adaptor to run AWD transfer case still.

Until an aftermarket computer is setup to run it, really isn't an option yet.

Could be good once that does happen though. Of course you could add a gear venture to an 80e, and have 8 forward gears. Mark Bowler www.bowlertransmission.com and I were talking about that awhile back. I think he has to parts, etc to do it even.

Yep Thats where my trans's came from 07 escalades the trans and transfer case is serviced as an assembly through GM :roll:
