9/11 tc question

what improvement would a 9/11 be over a stock converter. I am able to build 12#s of boost to launch with and still get .550-.655 rt Would a 9/11 help anything other than build boost faster?

I would recommend it. Since you have a upgraded turbo it would help spool up quite a bit. I had a 3000 stall in mine running a stock turbo before I got the PTE and spool up was pretty much instant. With your turbo you probably dont have too bad spool up with the stock converter but the 9/11 would really help out. It won't help your reaction time any but it will probably help out your 60ft times by letting the motor get more into the power band before letting it go. Well, I take that back. If your pressed for time at the light and wanting to build X amount of boost, then yes it will help your RT by allowing you to get the boost quicker and not having to wait. But usually we can get to the light quick enough before the other car since they are doing a burnout and can get boost built up. Wait, that wouldn't work against another Sy/Ty. :D Don't know if this helps any, just my .02 cents. Later

that is correct.
but when trying to build lots o' boost at a light, it does take time.
with a nice stall, you can do that faster, giving you a better reaction time.

as long as you hurry up and stage first, you'll have plenty of time to build boost and get a decent reaction time. a tc won't help or hurt your r/t. But if you stage last, you won't be leaving the line with much, if any, boost most likely.

I was not asking if it would help my reaction time. I can cut a .500 in my wifes saturn. I was asking if it would help take off et. M 60ft times are in the 1.7x. The only reason I said my rt was to show that I can build boost and leave already. Will the 9/11 help other than build boost at the line?
