92 TY#1530 in Deadwood, SD auction

1992 Ty#1530 at the auction during Kool Deadwood Nites in Deadwood, SD. Have seen in Rapid City at "Deals 4 U" car lot for sale for at least the past 2 + years. Should have sold today at auction, I'm going to try to call them on Monday & see if it sold. Front looked repainted, diff exhaust, 77,000 miles. I believe they've wanted $12,500 for it.

More than the front's been repainted. The tailgate decals are slightly off and the color of the cladding looks lighter than stock. Carfax a must for anyone thinking about this one.

That truck was for sale in this area in 2007. The dealer originally wanted $12,000 in May of '07. The dealer here had it until July or August and by that point the asking price was $9995. When I saw it I thought it was in average condition. I did not drive it or even start it up so I have no idea what the mechanical condition was.

Is it just the pictures or is the ass end cladding pushed in from the sides towards the middle where the license plate is?

I cant remember BUT all the cladding doesnt fit very well. It has been repainted except for the grille.

Sadly, this truck will probably sit until some sucker with a little knowledge comes along thinking he found "the one" and will proudly snatch it up. He will then soon realize that he could have gotten a much better deal if he would have waited or looked around.

I know because this is how I became the proud owner of a 68,xxx mile POS but well loved Typhoon.
