Does anyone had problems with idle ?
The injectors are big for sure and i dont know if the truck would work perfect at "lows"
Thanks

Why'd ya go so big first of all? What hp are you going to support?

As far as tuning - go open loop with them, don't make the injectors change the pw much at idle, let the IAC make slight airflow changes instead. As long as you can keep the pw relatively stable, they aren't that bad.

I realize you mentioned 96#'ers.. My Ty has a completely stock lower end (yeah unfortunately) all the way down to the worn out 110k mile camshaft. Anyhow, Nolan had the 84's setup on my truck running great while it was in gear, in fact I swear it was running BETTER than on the stockers... When it was placed in a NO LOAD situation (neutral or park) it tended to hunt a little bit about a 150-200rpm swing, just enough to me to be annoying. HOWEVER, Nolan did mention that he thinks he had a fix for it (I'm sure he does), so to answer your questions, I think it boils down to TUNING, playing with the PW and DC etc... at idle my truck was using like <1% DC on those injects.. I think I remember seeing your signature that you were running 75's and FAST, so your calibration oughta be closer (atleast start-able) and then I would think if you can tune the 75's you should do fine with the 96's based on my experience with the 84's.

FWIW, I am running a PT52 and a stock ecm altered to run Low Impediance Injects, and Nolans tuning. I was quite happy with these injects and would strongly recommend them to anyone thats planning on getting serious about the turbo size and timeslips (I intend to BIGGIE SIZE the turbo after my engine rebuild)..

HTH, YMMV

Well , i would like to see 1000 hp on single turbo if possible.Im trying to rob hp from everywhere ,like electric steering pump and many others
I had 1,3-1.4 ms with the L35s and the 75s.Id like to buy injectors for one last time......you know what i mean
The engine is waiting for the rest of the parts in the garage
I also asked Mike if i should polish the ports but he said "i wouldnt "....so i dont...he knows better
Id like to test the Q trim T78 before going TT
I think its difficult to hit the 1000 hp with the hyd 422 cam....we'll see.....

The pump comes from a Citroen,if youre asking about the steering pump.
If its the fuel pump that youre asking then ive got(the last 3 years) two external bosch ,the same the Sierra Cosworth Ventors use for upgrade

The big injectors are going to act lots different at different fuel pressures. So you can lower fuel pressure to give you a bit longer pulsewidth at idle, but at the same time lower the amount of hp supported. I don't think you'll have too difficult a time tuning it at 40-45psi.

I'm still a fan of a single fuel pump. 8) I saw one pump suck some air in a 2 pump system, blew up a 950rwhp turbo car. Or I should say it blew up 3 of 6 cylinders.
