I would like to know where to find a new or used gauge pod for the a-piller. All ive been able to find so far are for the newer style blazers/jimmys.

How much you looking to get with shipping to WI. I think for now 2 would be fine since my truck is stock and my main want right now is a boost gauge since Ive read the stocker sucks balls.

And to the rest of you guys thanks for the fast response. I had a brain fart when I was looking and forgot to look at the normal trucks listed for stuff like this.

Personally, I'd go the the 3 pod. You can always add the third gauge later. What else are you going to put in it besides a boost gauge?

IDK what else I would be putting in there. What is the most common gauges to run. I know the boost gauge for starters and I wouldnt mind a trans temp or maybe fuel pressure. The guy I bought the truck from just had a boost gauge stuck in the compartment under the dash and I will not be halfassing anything if I can do something about it. Ive already torn the top half of the motor down to replace the head gaskets and intake gaskets. But thats a whole nother story.

Get the 2 1/16 instead of the 2 5/8
You will want a PLX wideband O2 in there and they don't make the larger size display to match the gauge pods. I have to now dash mount it :rant: or spend $500 in new gauges. :tdown:
You want boost for sure and AFR is a good bet too.
Then you have a pissing contest between tranny temp, oil pressure, fuel pressure which comes down to personal preference i think.
The PLX gauge can actually display 4 different readings if you get the multi gauge so worth thinking about.

I just bought the truck last weekend and Im still working on getting it put back together. The last owner thought it had a bad head gasket and started to tear down the motor then let it sit for 4 years collecting dust and scratches before deciding he wasnt going to finish it and sell it the way it is. I am still in the process of finishing what he started and praying theres nothing more wrong with the truck. It has 82k on it and the only mod I see is the lack of a cat and a flowmaster muffler. Engine internals all looked to be fine and the tranny fluid doesnt smell burnt at all so I should be ok. If not there are going to be alot of parts for sale real soon.

That's a lot more then what I have to spend right now. There's just to many more important things I need to buy for the truck. I live up in Menomonee Falls and I picked the truck up from a guy in waukesha so I'm sure you've seen it around. I'm just not sure if its apple red or raspberry. Ether way it needs new paint since the clearcoat is pealing off just about everywhere

If everything goes right I should have it on the road tomorrow but it wont get a new paint job till winter. Check the new guy section I posted pics.

Does it have a standard jimmy interior or vette sawblade rims? Might be a different truck but I know of one that has been around for a while now.
I am not firm in my gauge price, I would more just like them to leave so I can order the new ones. Like I said maybe you could come take a look at them and we could work something out. Also another thing to consider is that the digital gauges are 2 in one so you would actually be buying 4 gauges for the price so its really not anymore than some standard autometers. And if you need a hand installing them I could probably do that also
