AC compressor clutch replacement

Greetings;

Has anyone tried removing the clutch assy. from the AC compressor successfully? Mine sounds like 30 newborns who are very hungry!

I have the center bolt off, the 4 bolts behind the pulley bolts loose, but hitting on the pulley......... and I can't get any further. Needless to say, this is self taught OJT for me, and it's not going well. Is there some special tool, or conbination of swear words needed?????

I was trying to keep costs at a minimum, but if someone here can't walk me thru this it appears I'll have to buy a whole new compressor assy.. TIA,

Never mind....... I got too frustrated and bought a re-manned one from Schucks...... complete for $129.99.

for the record. yes their is a special tool to remove and install the clutch.
