AC Compressor question

I need to replace my AC Compressor. Just looking at advance auto I am not sure which one I need. Both of these say they are an exact fit for a 92 Typhoon but they are listed with different coil types and manifold type.

Coil:Spade 5/8" Manifold $179.99
Coil: 8mm Min 3/4" Manifold $200.99

The advance people are clueless can anyone on here help?

I assume the manifold is where the lines connect. Measure your original compressor. They are either (2) 3/4" lines or a 5/8" and a 3/4" line. That should answer your question as to which compressor you need.

edit: It looks like there may also be a compressor with (2) 3/4" lines, with the 5/8", 3/4" holed compressor being an oddball.


On the other hand, napaonline.com only sells the compressor with two 5/8" manifold holes.
