AC DELCO RAPID FIRE....

went to get tune up stuff for my Whipped '95 in preperation of a trip to Fl. next month...i usually ask for syty plugs(cr42ts) but the computer showed AC Delco 'rapid fire' plugs for syty applications...
as an alternative i asked for NGK ur5s....but none avalible....
my '95 isent as tempermental as the ty...but i run the same stuff...AC Delco,Duralast(aka Conrad),MSD(wires,coil,box)...same basic motor,different induction.

soo,anyone have any expirence with the rapid fires? i picked up a set cause it was all that was avalible...they were nearly twice as much as the cr's...4.50 each....parts guy said their a performance plug.

I've run RapidFire in my Ty and had horrible luck.

I've heard of people using them in other apps with good results.

thanx for the replies...
dont sound like the rapid fires are worth a damn...guess ill make the 30 mile trek to the place that has the 42's....ill stick with what i know works.
