Addco Rear Swaybar on Syclone

OK, I've searched and cannot find a picture of how this damn thing is installed. I have 2" lowing blocks and can't seem to get it lined up anywhere.

Please, NO thread references - I've checked those and if there were any pictures, they are long gone.

If someone has a genuine picture (side perspective preferred), please either PM or post it.

Thanks!

I have one of these that I installed 10+ years ago that I just had to remove because I went with lowered leaf springs. The fit and design are poor at best. If I remember you use an existing hole in the bottom of the frame on the driver’s side and have to drill a hole in the same position on the passenger side of the frame. These holes are where the end links mount. You must have the weight of the truck on the axle to get it to bolt up.

FYI the end links will end up bending if you jack up the truck and allow the axle to drop. At least mine did.

Hope this helps. Sorry no pictures.

The instructions that come with that POS are terrible. I think mine needed longer bolts to fit properly... I tore mine out 10 minutes after it was installed... didn't fit. Sold it for 20 bucks.

It's looking like longer links are need, based on everyone's input.

Thank you all for the information - I'm going to try and make it work.

I'm not sure if longer endlinks would work it might hit the leaf spring. One thing to also be careful of is the E-brake cable. The endlink on mine wore the insulation off of my cable.

Let me know if you find a good way to make it work.
