I've got RPM's A2A and am looking for advice on an air cleaner setup.
I'm running a PTE51, with a 3" inlet. This turbo is a little larger than stack, so it extends further forward (closer to the core support). Thus my piping is a little different from standard (Turbo Outlet only).
Before I decided to go A2A, I had planned to use an ATR box with a short K&N that was going to fit - even with the Turbo Inlet positioned further forward).
Now with the A2A return inhabiting that space (along with A/C lines), I am at a loss.
I had an ATR battery relo kit, which has been removed and it looks like the lower fenderwell is a good place for clean, cool air.
In my picture, you can see the 3" 90 elbow and the limited space that I have for plumbing.
It just looks like it's going to be difficult to get intake piping from a filter to the turbo.
Does someone make piping that can be heated and flattened to clear the I/C and A/C pipes (like some of the Camaro stuff that fits between the engine & radiator)?
Or, what are thoughts on flexible/corrugated hoses?
A filter hanging off the front of the turbo, in the hot engine compartment is NOT an option.
Thanks!
