watch that alt. fan blade, mine ate through 2 radiator hoses, better, i jerry rigged some zip-ties to the fan shroud and wrapped a quad layer section of that cheap steel hose braid covering for extra insurance, doesn't look to great but works for me.
just saying it, because i know your motor is going to pull with more a hellofalot more torque on boost launches then mine would dream of...
Yet, seeing all that money just strapped on that motor, i'd guess you're going real braided anyway and that's just for mock up?

Time to update this thread and bring it to the top...Driving down the Mass Pike last night I got on it a little and it decided that it maybe coolent and oil should be mixed together. So far its in friends garage and has the hood off. I will prob start to tear it down on Monday night and see where it leads. My thought is a blown head gasket...pictures to follow on monday night after I start my new project...just in time for winter

I don't know if this makes any sense. I haven't had the time to tear the motor down, but Ive been thinking about what the bad plug in #1 and the coolent in #6 have to do with each other. Could I have blown the pass side head gasket and filled #6 with fluid on the exhaust stroke hydrolocking the engine and had severe detonation in the number one cylinder as the engine stalled to kill the plug?
Is this just a useless thought or does it make sense?

I know, you look at that picture and the beer in back is out of focus
EDIT: More importantly, I will be keeping a tally of all beer and alcohol consumed while working on the typhoon while it is down...Should be fun to see the end result.
