I removed the level control on the Ty (it didnt work anyways) well tonight while installing the swabar I noticed I never removed the harness for the compressor, nedless to say i just spent an hour removing the entire remains of the harness:roll:

You are obsessive, but so are most of the rest of us. My compressor is still back there (along with the harness obviously), but pulling them out is on my everlasting to-do list.

Anyone chime in if I am wrong on this one! They either stop working or when you want to lower the truck, it will raise the rearstill and run constantly.

Yeah I found that thing to be obnoxious. I did the same thing when I pulled mine out.

LOL, I'm glad I'm not the only one..... I do things like that all the time. Here's a few exacmples that come to mind....

When I rotate the tires on my jeep, I always put the one locking lug nut on the wheel stud facing the valve stem, so all four corners are the same.

When I put the center caps in the BBS wheels on my Shelby, I rotated them so the logo is always parallel with the ground, when the valve stem is exactly down.

When I mounted the tire on the BBS wheels, I rotated the tire on the wheel before it was beaded up, so all 4 tires are clocked the same on the wheels. So the letter Y in Yokohama is right by the same spoke, on every wheel.

Needless to say, I definately would have taken out the harness for the ABS. I'll be removing the ABS and the harness from my truck soon....

I remoed the harness for the abs along with the sensors and replaced the hubs so the rings arent there

shouldn't you put it opposite of the valve stem to offset the weights and keep the hub in "better" balance? :lol:

I KNOW that I am. Had to see a shrink for it when I was younger...

Switches for my gauges and TCC lock up (this was done several years before I became a CNC guy):

"Dremeled and hand filed to within .003" for a tight fit."

I did a set of header in my Corvette. After finishing it up and plugging back the sensors in, I realized their coolant sensor wire was bolted into the side of the block to keep tucked away. I could have just zip tied, but I want it done right. I ended up pulling the passenger side header out. It took me 2 hour to do one 8 mm bolt.
