well, did the search, and it seems that nobody had/has this problem??

My front seats won't lock up, they will lock up in the rail, but the backseat won't.

Somebody has a solution, and some pictures about the solution?

ummm, nope, try reading it again....

I believe he mean "seatback" and not "backseat" at the end of the sentence.

so what function does the lever has, that is on the seat? only for adjusting?
talking about 93 seats.

the lever on the side is for adjustment, the one on the back, no idea.

I had a 93 Pontiac before my Ty, those seats were the same way, as are the seats in my 92 Ty and other GM vehicles Ive been in.

Since Bezerk's question has been answered, i have one.

My seat locks up in the rail but when i accelerate or brake can feel it rock back and forth in the rail a little, looks like the pins that attach to the rail have some slop to them.

Does anybody else have this problem, a how did you fix it?

Are you saying that your front seat backs don't lock (b/c mine don't either)

To Morgan:
So your lever on the back of the seat does nothing (b/c I don't need to pull the lever for my seat backs to flop forward)

It kinda sounds like this is just one of the GM quality control problems

nope, Ive never owned a newer GM or been in a newer GM vehicle that has needed the lever on the back of the seat to be lifted for the seat to move. The only vehicle I own that has that lever and actually needs to be lifted for the seat to flip forward is my 1970 El Camino.
