Antifreeze Leak

Through search I see that there is a freeze plug behind the pass side motor mount and I am almost positive that is where my leak is from. My question which I am already guessing the answer to. Is it possible to replace this with the engine in the truck?

Yes, I've done it. I'll dredge up the pics/how to.

EDIT Here's the link:

To me this worked amazingly well. Although I used an old motor mount you could easly use an existing mount to make the plate so the bolt holes match. Hope this helps.

EDIT again, BTW DO NOT use the pan to support the motor. Clearances are close between it and the rods. Ask me how I know...

Thanks for that I did not come across that post in search. Looking at the pictures, looks like you have the down pipe out and starter out am I correct. Also were did you support the motor?

Re: Antifreeze Leak

You can support the motor on the front pulley if I remember right. Starter out for sure. After that you're gonna have to play by ear. I honestly don't remember what else I removed.

Ya Justin. I was looking at that leaky plug thinkin' what the h am I gonna do now. I was amazed I even thought of it. Necessity is the mother of invention I guess...
