Anyone driving through NW Ala.?, Syclone spotted

A co worker of mine saw a Syclone at a gas station in Cherokee, Al. Sunday morning. That's a small town in NW Alabama, he didn't talk to the owner or catch the tag #. Said it looked nice, I know one just sold on ebay in harvest, Al. which isn't all that far away, it cold have been it i guess. Anybody on here?

I believe the one that sold in Harvest was Jimmy's (local guy), Clay may know more details about it though. My daughter and her husband live in Florence and they havent said anything about another Syclone to me yet.

I talked to a guy I know here in Muscle Shoals, his buddy in Corinth Ms. bought that truck. It makes since, because my co worker saw it close to the state line. There are 2 here in the shoals area I know of: mine and one in Tuscumbia.

I'm not sure if Jimmy's old truck sold or not, I've heard of a few SyTys in rural areas that come out occasional. I did see a extremely clean and low mile Sy (like 15k IIRC) at Moulton Dragway a couple years back, it was actually one that Lane built for the guy. It never made a clean pass that I saw, it spun all over the place, but it was definitely making some legit power.

The truck I'm talking about had 103,000 or 104,000. The first person I remember having it for sale had a GN and a Corvette, I seem to think his name was Jimmy. I know it said on the ebay ad that he was going through a divorce, hence the sale. This truck looked all stock, not even any guages. What kind of numbers did the one at Moulton run?

Yeah, that was Jimmy Guy. He sold the GN not too long after selling the Sy, the Sy went to a guy a forum member on HSVracing, who sold it to someone that I suspect had intentions of flipping it.

They weren't showing the times on what that Sy ran at the track, I later found out it was running in the very low 7's, I can't remember the exact times now.

The Sy Lane built is making pretty big #'s, worked motor, 76mm turbo, locker front axle. Lane was driving it when you saw it make those passes Clay. Spinning all 4! The owner is from Decatur. The guy Jimmy sold his Sy to has already sold it...
