I know the truck. And I can put you in contact with the person who knows even more about it...including the owner.

Sounds like he has a lot into it for the price. Not sure who ownes it, but with alittle TLC, it sounds like it would run real good.

He doesn't list what the price is though? I'm assuming you saw the 10.4 for the guy was just breaking down the cost of each item.

I know the truck and the shop that built it. All it apparently needs is a tune. Truck was taken to an LS/GM tuner after assembly but he had no idea what he was doing. Truck can be had cheap, owner has moved on to new toys.

Re: Anyone know anything about TY 1490?

Thanks guys for all the information its hard to buy a truck in FL when you live in NJ. I don’t want to spend the money to fly down to check it out and it turns out to be a beater that’s been cleaned up. My last TY came from Chicago the pictures looked good but when I got there it was running on 5 cylinders something the owner neglected to tell me.
Does anyone know any good tuners in NJ?

Thanks again for all your help

I will just say the truck mentioned above was running on 5 cylinders probably because of him. I've seen another victim of his Mickey Mouse mechanics. #6 head gasket because he did not torque a head stud. Kinda hard to honor his work when he took 2yrs and 8k from a Ty owner local to me.
