Anyone NOT running front wipers?

I'm in the process of doing a bunch of small body modifications to my Typhoon. I was wondering if anyone is not running front wipers? I'm thinking of taking the wipers out all together, I've already removed the rear wiper and I really never ever use the front wipers.
If you did remove your wipers do you have any pics of how you filled in the cowl hole?

I'm pretty sure there are a bunch not running wipers. I want to say I've only seen one truck with a custom cowl without the arm holes in it.

I couldn't see it being that hard to fill those holes though if you want. Just cut the hole, and the raised lip off and weld in a filler and repaint.

Im not running wipers, but have yet to remove any of the hardware. Even though I do not drive my truck in the rain (no fender wells) I have been caught a few times while driving to meets and it did start to rain. I do carry 1 wiper behind my sit for emergency situations.

I am working on doing what Silly posted above with a cowl and make it available.

If the cops want to I think they can give you a ticket for no wipers.

Usually happens when you are hanging out in the wrong place @ the wrong time.

I'm not running wipers or the motor (see pic). I've yet to replace the cowl with one that has the holes filled. It's on my to-do list though.

If you're diehard about weight savings, the whole thing weighs about 9-10lbs.

I am working on doing what Silly posted above with a cowl and make it available.

Heh, I think wipers would be the last thing I needed to worry about if I got pulled over. No EGR/cat, open exhaust, illegal tint windows to name a few....

I guess it would have been a problem to wipe the blood off the windshield after I "ran him over" without wipers. :rotf:

3rdly on the Rain X. I have run ALL my cars with it and its excellent. The newer the glass the better the end result too.

I figured I would update this.

I had a friend help me get the holes for the wipers welded up, they still need some more bodywork and then paint, but it looks pretty good so far.

(No roof rack either, looks so much better)

Not to bring up an old thread but I'm actually having my hole cowl smoothed all the wholes filled and even the vents. I know the vents are for the defroster but I only drive it in the summer and on nice days so it's no big deal. It would be cool to see something differant.

I just took the wipers off & put black rubber plugs on them.

I was going to do this on mine as well, but I decided to go with the slots or vents all the way across. I need to buy another wiper cowl and cut some of the vents out of it to piece into mine so it looks the same all the way across. I will post pics when I get this done. That probably wont be for a little while now.
