Anyone use the Vetronix Tech 1a or Tech 1 for a diagnostic tool? ---

pppssssshhhhhtttttttttttt
I recently purchased the OBD1 Vetronix Tech 1a , which is the tool that the GM Dealerships used to diagnose GM vehicles in the late 80's and early 90's.

I got it because the Corvette guys recommended it for use on my 90' ZR1.

I have Datamaster for the Sy , but you cant erase engine codes with it ... you can with the tech 1a .

Just curious if you use one, and what cartridges you recommend I get to use it with the SY .

Thanks :) ---

I believe the .ads and .xdf files are out there for Tunerpro for use the ZR-1's, I ran across it a while back and was surprised it was out there. A quick google search turned up some results that confirmed that some ZR-1 guys are using tunerpro with there cars. I know it will do stuff that a Tech 1 won't, in regards to datalogging and possibly bin editing.

I'm interested to hear what others have to say, I don't have any experince with a tech 1. It kind of sucks that they require so many different modules, but I guess if it's just being used for a couple types of vehicles it wouldn't be bad. It would suck to piece together all of the modules if you wanted it to work with all of the old OBD I vehicles.
