ATR battery relocation kit

I figured I should post this here since my Jimmy is not a TY???

What is the advantage of using this kit?
I'm considering using it on my Jimmy to make room for a place to put my MSD and a cold air intake.
I've only seen a few pictures of this kit installed, some more would be helpful in my decision.

napa sells a battery box for boats...you could also buy battery cable while you're there and make your own...just be sure to grommet the holes that you make in the metal floor of your cab...those holes will have sharp edges and the cable must have protection...also wouldn't hurt to run the power lead through some heater hose for added insurance...

The ATR relocate kit is made to put the battery in the trunk. I think the Kenne bell one goes underneath the current location, but I could be wrong.

:-? ....The whole reason for me looking at the ATR setup is to keep the battery in the engine compartment.

nolan came up with a way to trim the stock battery tray and relocate it down further than the stock position...if you search for "battery" under the username 10secTY (sp?), you should come up with it...photos are included in his mod...good luck
