Hey Guys,
Assembling my engine and I tried to fit up the Alt/PS bracket. As everyone mentioned, it doesn't bolt right in. However, the rear slot on the bracket will bolt on. I think the slot forward of this one would bolt on if there were another hole drilled thru the Header mount plate.
Apparently there are two holes available on the head to bolt the front of the exhaust header to the heads. The ATR headers use the one closest to the front and the stock Exhaust Man. uses the one just an inch or so back. So, if U were able to use that same hole w the ATR headers, the bracket would bolt on. U would have to drill another hole to get to this bolt hole.
Anyone else notice this or try it ? Meanwhile I bought another mount plate from Paddock for Chevies, so I might try that 1st.
