ATR Headers and Mini Starter problem

I just installed ATR headers and I have a PowerMaster mini Starter.
The problem is that when i bolt the starter up in any position the solenoid hits the bottom of the #6 header tube.

Has anyone else had a problem with the starter hitting the headers??

yes I had the same problem....I had to get a different starter....one that you could clock down the solinoid..

I can clock the starter, but only 3 different positions. Guess i'll have to drill some new holes in the alum block and i'll be ok..

do you have to clock an oem style starter to clear this tube?

I don't think so. But then again I don't have the stock OEM starter.

Well I fixed my starter problem

Rotated the starter 180 and cut a piece of the diff bracket for clearance..

No, installs with no problem.

I bought the CVR mini that can be clocked 180 degs....
