atr headers leaking?

I have locking bolts on my headers with the copper gaskets everyone uses. I think i can hear an exhaust leak or do these headers sound like this normally? Is there a way i can check to see if i have a leak?

i didnt use any gaskets and it worked fine (kb's)...just copper silicone, i think...as for the exhaust leak, try a long piece of vacuum hose to your ear like a stethoscope...you should hear the leak if you get around the general area...also look for burn marks where exhaust gas might be escaping...HTH

did you use the sce gaskets? if so that might be your problem. you see the crush groove around the port on the gasket, sometimes that is smaller/bigger than it needs to be and the gasses get around the groove and viola an exhaust leak.

yup those are the ones i used. Everyone said to use them.
