Do you happen to have the summit part number for the deep pan? What filter should be used with it? Anything special one needs to know? I don't want to smoke my 80e, thanks.

I was told by George a while ago that you don't need to worry about a deep pan as there is loads of tranny fluid in there anyway.

The description was that you could hold your feet on the brake and the gas all day long unless you had a 3500 stall and up.... :2cents:

Yeah, he did mention that. I just want it for the bling factor since I had a B&M deep pan on my 700R4.

http://store.summitracing.com/egnse...0+4294908216+115+4294904036&Ntk=KeywordSearch I used this one, just use the aluminum extension with the filter. it pushes in a little hard, use the spring clip on the back corner of the filter. http://www.turbols6.com/gallery/TYPHOON-LSX-TURBO/arx http://www.turbols6.com/gallery/TYPHOON-LSX-TURBO/asb may have to clearance the edge of the pan to clear the shift lever, and you will have to mod the shifter bracket to use it.

Where did you get the aluminum extension from? Is there any chance of the filter coming out? Do you have a pic of the area you had to clearance? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to decide if I really want to change over to the deep pan since it doesn't sound like a direct bolt-in.

It comes with the pan, fits very tight in the rubber seal. I put it in without the spring clip and left it overnite and it didn't move.I didn't clearance the pan yet. I had a problem with the transmission and had to remove it. I'll post pics on the website when I reinstall it.
