B&M flexplate 20239

This flexplate is described as an external balance unit. As I understand it, this means that it must be part of the rotating assembly when an enging shop do the engine balance. Is this right? I coundn't find any clarification of this in the archives and a great deal of confusion whether the ty engines were internally or externally balanced.

I am pretty sure that that is right. I think that number is the one that i have. If so you have to have it balanced at the same time you balance everything else
