Got word from Robert about 5 minutes ago

He is about to start the plans for his BAD A$$ Syclone´s return to US for a couple of weeks racing and fun.

The thougt was to hit the already stormy aeria of southern US Florida and up maybe even athend the SyTy meet in Florida if time´s right.

Plans are to be racing and having fun in the sun in October/November next year -09

Hope to meet up with the SyTy members that we meet in nats -06. BUT as planes are, we´re not going to nats this time, sorry

Roberts usual "homebase" in US is around Ft lauderdale in Florida, and I think we´re aming for that as a base.

Gona keep U updated on the plans on this thread only.

I will definatly make sure to plan a FL meet around Roberts Schedule. If homebase is Ft Lauder, we can probably goto Gary Shanock's place in Miami. He just got done building a huge 2 bay garage complete with lifts.

Nice, we could have some fast trucks at a FL event.

nope. NATS 09 will not be in November, and will not be in Florida.

Yes the plan is to go to some different tracks up in states close to Florida.

Think south Carolina, Gerogia, Alabama and maybee mississippi could be in reach..

Would be realy nice and give us an easy planing if U "local´s" to this states could give us tips about good tracks prefered 1/4 mile tracs..

It would be a stretch (distance), but if you make it up into South Carolina, might as well check out the newest track "we" have to offer, in North Carolina. Not broken in yet, but should prove to be the polar opposite of the tracks you're used to seeing on your side of the pond.

Anders... are you guys just planing to stay on the track or will you guys do some street cruising as well?

If you plan to run at Orlando Speedworld and want to go out cruising afterwards, let me know... I can get a group together and we can all go out and find some trouble :tup:

Im not really in the loop on this but how are you guys transporting your vehicles into the US? Whats the cost and what sort of things do you have to do to get it legal for the streets?

Last time we where there it was totaly street legal with insurance and all.

Its still as streetably as before, but we prefer to haul it the longstretch in a trailer as last time, Its no fun sitting on a race with a brocken part and a not drivably truck..

Have´nt spoken to Robert about the "running the streets" but I for one would like a cruze night or 2 BUT its a lot of money involved and we might be 3 or 4 people in total to come, Robert "need´s" his "wrenchbitches" too,
So lets se what the plans work out to be..

Looking forward to a ride in BAD ASS .Our Syty Shindig this november will be the best but knowing the 2nd annual SS has a big line up already feels good .

SO Mike , will the Ghettosled be attending in 09 as well ? Who else can give robert a run for his money ??
