You can use the stock pointer BUT don't assume the marks are correct. You must still find true TDC whenever you build a performance engine.

i believe most of the 6.25" dampers require a different pointer.. Like Bigtime said, it's always good to have an adjustable pointer to dial in your exact tdc, b/c even 1-2 degrees off on these motors makes a difference.

summit part# 917781 says out side diametet 6.325 is this the right one?
