Belltech pics anyone??

I know this has been asked numerous times about the belltech leaf springs but when I did a search I couldnt find any pictures of Ty's w/ the lowering leafs. all the pics in old posts were gone :dunno: . Im looking into lowering the Ty on 17" wheels and Im hoping someone here has pics of their ty lowered on 17" wheels. If you could be so kind as to list how much of a drop and what you used that would be great. Once again sorry to bring up another thread on this :roll:

Normal Leaf + 2 inch Block (16 inch)

Lowered Leaf (16 inch)

Lowered Leaf (17 inch)

Lowered Leaf + 1inch BellTech Angled Block (17 inch)

Front Coilover + Lowered Leaf + 1inch BellTech Angled Block (17 inch)

nice ty man! do you have a part number for the ty leafs? I think the sy and ty leafs are different.

They are 3" drop springs from a stock 2wd ride height.
That means ~2" to us.

Bell Tech only offers 1 set of leaf springs for the S-Series, doesn't matter if its 2wd 4wd jimmy or sonoma, 5954 is the only set you can get.

www.summitracing.com had the best price back when i bought mine and they did not charge extra for oversized shipping, but they might now that they've caught on.

thanks man! I thought i read somewhere that the 3" belltechs wouldn't work on a ty but maybe that was something else. :tup:

Damn right that is a sick truck! Aside from the fact that mine is a Sy, I totally want the stance you have on third pic down. I'll have to see what I think of mine after just the Belltech springs and the see if the angled block is what I want to do. My truck looks like it's ready to conquer the Paris-Dakar rally especially compared to the way my Camaro sits right now. :lol:

hideakimura- did you just lower the fronts w/ the torsion bars before getting the coilovers? and did you have any problems getting the alignment right afterwards?? Thanks again!

There's two bolts you turn one on each side
