Best front end mask?

Be aware that a bra will end up by marring your paint. Road grit has a tendency to get between the bra and your paint and acts like sand paper on you paint. (I learned that years ago after screwing up the paint on a Porsche 911.)
I have found that a wind deflector (I have a smoke colored Lund from JC Whitney - no flames please) works well to protect the area you are worried about. It also does help to deflect insects etc. from the windshield.

Get the XPEL kit that is a transparent film.

Argh. Okay, I hate Colorado. I managed to go down a road that is totally torn up and got more nicks, and then there are two BAZILLION giant moths flying around getting stuck in the grille, radiator, headlights... you name it.
I'm going to get a full front mask - the hood lip will not cut it. I'll just be careful. I am anti-plastic because I have seen so many that are yellow and nasty looking, and they don't really come off clean in my opinion. I'd rather deal with the paint issue that what I have to deal with now.
Any suggestions? The dealer did not have one - at least they did not have one with cut-outs for the driving lights.
