They only suck in the rain, and we know it never rains in LA.
Those are my next tire purchase FWIW. I know they won't last long, but I'm all about hooking and booking :D

They sell BFGoodrich and Michelin at Costco...a friend of mine got some all terrains for his jimmy there pretty cheap. They sell the BFG G=force kdw there...might be worth checking out.

I had the SZ50EPs on my truck. Expensive, but awesome traction. The only way I could lose traction was to punch it while turning, even in the rain. I replaced those with dirt-cheap Kumho 711's, which seem to be decent so far, though I haven't actually put many miles on them.

I am getting a set of retread green dot tires. I will only be using them for the track. $72 each. They wont last as long as new tires but they hook up very well. This is what Phillip Long runs on his truck and has killer 60' times. They are also good in the rain.

I have the BFG G force KDW. they have lasted around 35k miles and have really good wet/dry traction. My nearly stock truck has turned a 1.76.

i had the 250's and they were nice all around and hooked good but i have read if you want the best hook and affordability the Cooper Cobras (i think)are the best bet.

Don't buy BFG drag radials, I find them way too loose. The G Force is another issue tho! They look and perform awesome. That'll be my next set for sure! Good luck :D

What do you mean too loose? Before buying mine I researched them and the nitto 555R and most people said the BFG will hook better but wont last as long or be drivable in rain, which did not concern me.
