Black/Black Ty for sale in Redmond Wa (cheap!)

Found a second Black/Black ty for sale in Redmond. Seller is asking $9000. I called him up to see why it was so cheap, the chassis has 193k miles on it though he just had the entire driveline replaced by Mr. Goodwrench. He didn't know if it was all built to typhoon spec or not but the new Motor, Turbo, TC, Tranny, and Transfer Case all have 30k miles on it so its probably a good bet it was done right.

I'd probably buy it if I had the money, but I'm still a poor college student.

Apparently its been in no accidents, has a completely straight body, and has been fairly well taken care of.

where is this one....i went to the other place and checked out the other...to be honest chances are that thing is NOT build to correct specs. but I could be wrong...this could be why the price is low. is it a private party? where is it, how can i look at it...thannks!

Yeah I'm a Western Viking, in my Junior year. If things go right hopefully I'll have a ty for my senior year.

I have no clue exactly where this one is, its a private seller, who didn't really seem to know what the truck was exactly. Said it runs perfectly and is in good shape but I havn't actually seen it for myself. Its listed on autotrader if you want to take a look at it.

I am a viking grad myself, although if I revisted, I would still have urges and anger against the registration people.

Are you playing in the VRI? Is Dr. Seal still there?

Bellingham is a fun place, sometimes dream of being able to go back to my college days, and do things slightly different, but who doesn't.

no, i'm an MIS major myself, I have a friend in the VRI program, but I don't really know any of the profs in that department. Some of the VRI stuff is pretty cool, that 550cc or whatever V8 engine they got is killer.

Feel free to stop by. When I was there, anybody was welcome to come by, work on cars, etc.

Most non engineering guys were scared though.

How does V8 run? I have seen pics, and know the team captain of the F SAE team, when that motor was developed. Curious if they got all the bugs worked out or what.

Feb-Nov look for GOOD job, with the right opportunities
Nov. ish.... girlfriend states, population of world is going to increase by 1
-decide need to act
Dec. Place calls me from KY, asking if I am interested... I am thinking, KY...hell those people don't wear shoes, and have 3 teeth. Figured before I tell them no, lets see what they say.

Have phone interview
Few days later they fly me out for a face to face interview
exactly type of job I want, small company, growth mode, machining company, only 1 person doing what I will be doing, lots of freedom, etc.
Make me offer... (thinking about the Nov news..)

Accept offer, move mid Jan.. 2000

Start Feb. 2000

Been trying to find my way back since, then economy goes in dumps...

Probably be stuck here a bit longer, but would REALLY like to get back. Ask roland, etc.. they all know...

I will be in town Nov 23rd - Dec. 2nd. Maybe we can meet up for dinner or something one night, with the rest of the NWSTP guys.

Sounds like there is a 4th Jeff ;)

Jeff is pretty cool. Jeff and I are twins. He's the smart one - I got the good looks. Okay maybe not twins - but we were born on the same day.

That's all - I'll let you guys get back to talking about geeky stuff :p

All the good people are born the same day we are Dave.

Jeff #4 isn't a very good Jeff. I prefer to call her madison.

she is learning how to drive already though, as you can see. I have already got her where she can adjust the rear view mirror.

Let me find a date, talk with roland, see how my schedule is and figure out something.
