Black Ty at OldTown (Florida) 1-12-08

I saw a black 93 Ty at a hotel next to Old Town in Kissimee yesterday. It had polished or chromed stock wheels, and California plates front and rear. I tried to find the owner by looking outside a few times, but the closest I got was seeing it drive away. I took a pic of the Ty and the vin with my phone but I'll have to download it to read the vin#- its too small to view on the phone. From memory, it was 12-1300 or something like that.

I still cant make out the vin#.

Nobody knows this Ty??

I also remember that it had a dent/ding where the roof meets the drivers side C-pillar.

It looked like it was packed full for a road trip, and I think I saw two guys get in it.

I was surprised with the trip to O-town by my wife and we drove her truck. If I wouldve known where we were going, I wouldve taken my Ty. Im sure I probably wouldve met the owner if my Ty was parked next to his.

Interesting. I was in Kissimmee / Old Town last weekend for the NCRS Regional. We had over 100 cars on the judging field. I always drive to the events, and wanted to take the 92 Ty, but decided against it (low oil pressure / knocking) after getting advise here that the noise is probably piston damage. I took my Blazer instead.

I digress... There was a Corvette owner that brought THREE cars from So Cal in his private Semi Hauler. I judged one of them. He had two guys with him as part of his 'crew'. It would not surprise me if the Ty belonged to this group. I'll probably see him again in a few months at future meet. I'll ask him about the black Ty.
