Black Ty in Pocono area

[92 Ty 1173]

I saw a black 93? Ty sitting along I-80 in PA near the Tannersville exit yesterday the 30th. It had a primer black drivers side fender with a scoop on the hood. Anyone lay claim to it? I was hauling and oversize load or I would of stopped to check it out.

I've never seen any other syty's in our general area besides ours,and the others we know of(you know who I mean).

Yeah I've seen a few around but far and few between. With me driving truck I cover some ground. I guess this one belongs to nobody.

yep, that one's mine. i got it not too long ago from new jersey and it was smashed in the front so im still workin on gettin it back to org cond. a couple months ago the trans went so i replaced it. and on the 29th the new trans went again. so i had to leave it on the side of 80 till my friend got it out of there. im gettin real tired of the 700r4 so i want to make it a 5 speed. if anyone has any input on a 5 speed swap please let me know. 570-236-1927. I seen the truck but wasn't sure if anyone was inside. Did you do the scoop on the hood?? I agree with you mike nj'ians can't drive and now they are moving into PA, crap, time to move west.

i have a driver side fender cladding that is cracked in the front with a half dollar size piece missing from it. if any one wants it let me know. i did make the scoop on the hood. it is currently not hooked up cause i am working on new setup. i cut out a GMC silouette out off 1/4 inch steel for a new intake through the hood. does anyone know if a ty was ever turned 5 speed??????

Holy crap. 10 years later. Me an some of my buddies helped push that one on the trailer. We were on our streetbikes and stopped when we saw it. Owner showed up soon after...Jim
