What ty do you have and what's the other one in your area? I have a blk/blk '92 ty and my brother has a sy; we both live in Eugene. I've seen another blk/blk ty w/ chrome wheels around town down here, and there used to be a red ty down here. I believe the latter was sold not too long ago.

i don;t have a sy/ty anymore, be technicality i never even got to own it, i did some trading with a friend and got one, but then ended up doing more trading before i could ever go pick it up, so i had the title but it never came to my place while i owned it.
theres a fella in town that has a wht/wht and grn/gry this one has a nasty little motor in it the i believe RPM built, never did get any dyno numbers or track times form him. been a while since we talked.
you guys should come up for the car show in salem on FEB 7 and 8 i made a thread about it somewhere on here. gonna be some cool $hit and a few of my dads customer cars will be in it.
he does some pretty trick fab work.

S-blazer. I bought my Ty on thursday. I had to sell the black blazer to help pay for it. So your Vanderbecks son? Yes I know who he is. Ive been out at his shop a few times with friends and also once when I was thinking of putting a cage in my T/A convertable. I've had alot of cars, my favs. our a 91 t/a convertable, ran 12's then bought a 2000 SS convertable camaro, it ran hard as well. Last year I had one of my 80 malibus that I built a bbc for and ran 12's in that with a 2:41 open rear gears, a stock truck cast iron quadrajet intake I ported. nice man, wow 2.41 gears, that thing was making good power to move with those econo gears. that such a high gear i'd almost think it would be counter productive to being a freeway cruiser, more like salt flats car.:rotf:

i got into imports a couple years ago, mainly DSM's and honda's it's been real fun but my dad was not so enthused, although he has respect for a couple of honda's i've put together.
i still mess with honda's, currently own 3 sold the 4th one yesterday, (sunday), they're fun get great mileage, and (knock on wood) they never leave me stranded.
i got a 98 z28 a while back, thinking i was gonna go somewhere with it but ended up losing interest, then a 2000 ss 6spd also thinking of going somewhere but agian lost interest, and traded for a fox body 92 gt mustang, ran 12.70's on slicks, that was a fun car.
i was in that SS alot of money and just wanted to dump it but no one was buying camaro's at that time so i traded for the mustard stain on a friday ran the shit out of it saturday at woodburn and sold it on sunday.
just recently started back up on my v8 s10/sonoma gt clone, and v8 blazer/typhoon clone but i found a syclone that i am going to buy, so both of those projects are now on another hopefully not so long term hold until i get the syclone and have it ready to go.
we should get together sometime, i'm currently living in mount angel, about 10 min past silverton, way out in the sticks, but i get to use the company shop, it's huge so i guess that kinda makes up for it

Your dad still have that red 60's vette? He showed it to me a few years back. I bought the ty for $6000. He wanted 7500, but had been trying to sell it for awhile. I was a bit leary of it but after changing the alternator it seems fine. Im living in Keizer myself. But I travel from southern washington to eugene every given day for work. Its very easy for me to stop buy for a few minutes and stuff. You know Art Mendoza? I used to hang out with him and help on his cars.
