The first vid posted said that the Sonoma GT had torsion bars up front. I though it had coil-springs like every other 2wd S10???

I graduated in 1994 so I was a Sophmore. But I had a GM turbo car back then. An 87 Chevy Turbo Sprint!

I guess it's more stuff that's "resurfaced" :lol:

... the posts by Dale (peelerboy), the Marlboro stuff (tobacco docs), the interior paint code thread, exterior paint code (what could have been/was thread), these vids, etc. :tup:

I know it's all here in the forums, but as we've seen, it gets buried and then resurfaces. It would be nice to have it all in one place, easy to find. :tup:

Merk, that is same one that is in the junk yard out by me. I took pictures of it some years ago. Marty posted them on Sportsmachines website. To this day that still wont let that thing out of there junk yard. I still stop buy every now and then and ask.

How in the world did that Sy get out of there to end up in Auburn, NY? I would have thought GM would have crushed it. The truck is still in pretty much the same shape as it was in 1995 when the video was shot.

Ahhh you are the one that found the crash test Sy behind the big ole walls of a salvage yard. Saw that video at Martys house over a decade ago and never knew who filmed it. lol

If there is, I have never seen anything more than a rumor.

The best of my knowledge, GM never crash tested the syclone before release. In order to satisfy DOT/NHTSA regulations, GM had to crash test a syclone and this truck was chosen.
