I just bought my Typhoon and I am very proud of it because i have worked my ass off earning money for it. No help from Mom and Dad like most of the teenagers here in Johnson County. Anyway I live in Stilwell but no one knows where that is but it is just south of Overland Park and i do most of my driving in OP anyway if you see me let me know.

cool i have another new guy in the OP area. i just bought me a sy and am picking it up on thursday from dallas/fort worth. definately need to get together, i just moved up here and have no idea where all the good racing is at. looking forward to smoking some stangs.

typhoonzz: It would be cool to go meet somewhere just let me know when you what to and where. I am new to these Ty's and would appreciate your opinion and knowledge on some things.

nascardude: You will love it here in KS. I have lived here for 13 years and love everybit of it. Has far has racing mustangs they are everywhere so have fun looking at them in your rear view mirror. Has far has places to race goes we only have one local dragstrip KCIR But we also have Heartland Park in Topeka where the big boys play with NITRO METHANE! Street Racers meet everywhere out here. Mainly on Santa Fe/135th street. You may think KS is boring and no one is really into racing out here. And yeah you would be partially right KS is boring but we all turn to cars to have fun. So there will be plenty of stupid kids willing to bet good money that there rice mobil or whatever they are driving will beat yours, take them up on their offer and you can end up with a part time job. If it is this one I really wanted to buy it but was holding off on the auction hoping it would not sell and i could get it for less than 10 g's but at the last minuter sphix_racing bid on it. Any i would love to see it regardless of which typhoon it is. and if it is that one i am talking about would u consider a trade? Actually i probably wouldn't trade bc i love my Typhoon.

that is the sy i bought and sorry but no way in hell am i trading my new baby for anything!!!!!! lol i ended up paying 9275 for it, the pics are kind of misleading casue he has kind of let the truck go, those pics are from the previous owner but she still has a lot of potential. i actually go pic her up from patrick tomorrow, can't wait. as far as racing around here, yeah i see a lot of kids with these little ricers around here, i'm really looking for some cool racers to get with, i mean how the hell do you hold a conversation with a guy who is saying a ford focus can be made fast!!!! anyway i will pm you after i get back with the truck so we can get together and try to let these guys know overland park is now sy/ty country.

That is awesome that truck is going to be so close now. I offered the guy 9 grand for it and he said he would have taken 9 if no one bid on it on ebay. I was a little sad but now i am happy with my ty. :D But let me know when you get yours in town and we can get together.

Congrats on the Sy purchase.
I'm in the process of pulling out the transfer case on my ty, so once it is back up and running, we'll have to find a time to get together all...

yeah i offred the guy 9 also but in the end i didn't fell like arguing over 250 dollars. i saw a black ty this afternoon on 127th headed west. i pulled over to talk to him and got caught by the same asshole of a cop. gave me a lecture about driving in the area. hell all i wanted to do was talk to another sy/ty'er. i swear these cops here have burrs the size of redwooods up their ass's. anyway he let me go with just a "stern talking to". i should be back with my truck saturday night sometime, i'll try to get ahold of you guys when i get back.

Did you end up trading your typhoon to the ford dealership? I would had offered you more for your ty but i had the typhoon that i ended up buying lined up for a good deal, i just had to go to nebraska to look at it, and i ended up getting really good deal on it, so sorry about the low offer i didn't intend to offend you or anything.

yes i traded it in and my other mustang for a 03 cobra. they gave me 10k but made up for it with my gt so i turned out ok.


gabe- now i want a peice of the black truck. i have to break mine in and learn how to drive it. i think i got a chance a getting to the finish line faster now.
