Hmm lemme see, you want to know if you install a blow off valve on your typhoon if you wil have to make any "adjustments"? The short answer is "NO" you won't. A blow off valve is designed to prevent turbo boost from stalling (slowing down) the compressor blades of the turbo when the throttle body blade(s) close. That is why you hear the "PSST" between shifts on a vehicle with a manual transmission. However being that we have automatic transmissions, the only time you will hear the BOV vent boost is when you let off the gas.
The only "adjustment" that has to be made is some BOV's have a provision for adjusting the pressure level that they will open up. I have a HKS SS BOV on my syclone and I have mine adjusted to open only at high pressure. Beyond that, the only other "adjustments" are getting a "hard pipe" (aluminum or steel) to go between the turbo and intercooler. Cutting a hole in it to weld the mounting flange to. And then connecting it to a vacuum source to operate the BOV properly. HTH's
